Tempest Rally Photos – 2011
For the past couple of years I have been venturing into the woods to watch and shoot the Tempest Rally. This year was no different. I charged my batteries, packed my bag, and off I went.
I was armed with my two Nikon bodies (D300 and D700), my Nikon 24-70mm and 70-200mm, my SB900 flash, and a ton of batteries and cards. Each body combined with the 70-200mm produce quality results. However, most of the close-up action was taken using the 24-70mm lens.
I’m no pro when it comes to motorsport (or any sport for that matter), but I’m dead chuffed with the results. I’ll definitely be heading out again next year, and I might even try to get to more motorsport events before then.
